Before you begin make sure you,
- Have installed the RSA SecurID Software Token application from the iTunes App Store on your iPhone
- The RSA SecurID Software Token application for iPhone can be found here - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rsa-securid-software-token/id318038618?mt=8
- Have at least 10-15 minutes to complete this process
- Read through the instructions
- Have access to a PC workstation with an Internet connection
- Have your mobile device in hand
After downloading and installing the app on your mobile device, contact your IT administrator for instructions on how to get your unique RSA SecurID Software Token Record.
Multi-factor authentication. RSA SecurID Access offers a broad range of authentication methods including modern mobile multi-factor authenticators (for example, push notification, one-time password, SMS and biometrics) as well as traditional hard and soft tokens for secure access to all applications, whether they live on premises or in the cloud. The 1.3.1 version of Token for Mac is provided as a free download on our website. The bundle identifier for this app is com.dalegillard.Token. Token was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.6 or later. The application lies within Productivity Tools, more precisely Office Tools.
To be able to utilize your software token on your smartphone, you will need to successfully import your RSA software token and set your PIN. Please follow the instructions in the order they are presented.
Part 1: Import Software Token from an E-mail hyperlink
On your Mobile device do the following:
NOTE: Make sure that you have a network connection on your device.
1. In your device Mail application, open the e-mail that you received from APRS@UPS.com with the Subject Line: UPS-SecurID Access Software Token Installation and Activation Instructions
2. Tap the hyperlink in the email to import your token
3. If prompted to accept a website certificate, tap Accept
4. Upon successful token import message, tap OK
5. Your token has been imported, and the RSA application opens
Part 2: Setting a PIN (Personal Identification Number)
1. On your computer go to https://fixtoken.ups.com/
2. Select the link Log into the UPS SecurID Self Service Site to launch the Log on screen.
3. Click on the link Login using Challenge Questions
4. Enter your RSA SecurID in the User ID field
5. Click on the Challenge Questions shield to log in using your challenge questions and answers
6. Enter your challenge question answers, click Submit Answer
7. From the Home Tab, click on the link Change or Set PIN
8. Answer your challenge questions again, click Submit Answer
9. Set your new PIN (Personal Identification Number), according to the on screen PIN complexity requirements.
10. Click Submit
11. You will receive a PIN Set Confirmation message upon successful PIN creation
12. Click Close
Part 3: Validate Your Token
13. From your computer click on Test Your Token
14. From your moble device, open the RSA application

15. At the Enter PIN screen, enter the PIN you just created, tap to generate a passcode
16. On your computer, in the Passcode field, enter the passcode that is displayed on your device, without spaces
17. Click Test Login
18. The message Authentication Success indicates your token is ready to use
19. Click Close
20. Log out of Self Service from the upper right hand corner
